We got snowed in again but it seems like for once California isn't much warmer

Hi again! It's Elder Hatch!

We had a pretty decent week, not a lot new to report. We met an older lady named Wendy who referred herself, she's real interested, we'll meet with her again tomorrow. We're excited to see where that goes!

We got snowed in again. Being stuck inside especially as a missionary is not fun let me tell you, you have to be patient and long-suffering haha. But we still got some work done, Elder Harper does a good job of keeping me on track.

This week's spiritual thought is on repentance! Which is something that I've noticed president Nelson likes to talk a lot about. He likes to put a focus on how positive of a process repentance is.

To put it in a different perspective, repentance is just change, for the better. One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies is "change is nature, the part that we can influence. And it starts when we decide" (let me knkw if you know what movie that is)

We all are imperfect, and in my opinion, that's awesome. It means we always have the opportunity to learn more! It means we can always move upward! It means we can always change. Not to say we have to reinvent ourselves completely- I think that God would never ask us to change the aspects of ourselves that are already praiseworthy, beyond improving those traits- just the parts that we could do better at.

I'd like to invite you all to find one think you could change for the better this coming week. It can be big or small. And don't forget to report it to someone, even if that's yourself! I can promise that change and improvement by aligning our lives with the gospel is the best way to bless others and live joyful lives!

That's all from me! Love you all to death! See you next week!
