I again found myself with no time this week to write but better than nothing.
It's been a great mix of super duper difficult and incredibly wonderful. But that's what life is supposed to be I suppose. Supposedly.
This week we baptized a kid named Patricio. He is the son of a recent convert, but has the shortest attention span. It was a struggle, but everything started to change after we taught him how to pray on his own. Then he started getting curious about what to say and what he's grateful for, etc. By the time his baptismal date came he was a much better behaved kid. We all could see the difference. The gospel is for everyone! Old and young.
Now we have his older sisters baptism this Friday!! She is amazing. She has given up smoking in a matter of days by occupying her mind with videos and reading from the gospel library app. She has progressed faster than any other investigator I've met. Real difficult life changes made in a week.
With her this Friday, we will have completed their family. I am very grateful that I have been able to be a part of their conversion experience.
That's all for this week. I promise to write more the next.
