It's been a while since I've written an email... how time flies when you're having fun, am i right?
The past month in Olmos has had some really fun highs and lows, and now I'm with a new companion named Elder Henrichsen. He's from Maryland and is a bit of a nerd It's okay because we have a couple things in common we like to talk about.
As of late we have had some success with the husbands of active members in the relief society. There's a Venezuelan man named Angel who has the most beautiful family and all he's missing from a perfect life is knowledge of the truth and a covenant or two haha. It will be a miracle if we can help him gain a testimony, and we already took the first step in getting him to church!
We also found the bishops aunt in law who is progressing rapidly towards baptism! She just needs to stop smoking and she'll be ready. Her names Delia and needs your prayers
Other than that it's just been the run of the mill soccer playing, mate drinking, and hard work. Así es the Argentine mission life. Simple yet espectacular.
Shoutout time:
1 million shoutouts to my mother who is the foundational blessing of my life. Sorry to all other moms who didn't quite measure up to how cool my mom is but y'all are still amazing so don't feel too bad.
Shoutout to my brother Ben for being amazing at the piano!
Shoutout to my brother Josh who's amazing and is about to end his mission already. How the time flies
Shoutout to my best friend for turning 22
And shoutout to my mom again because she's so cool she deserves 2.
I hope my siblings at home gave you a proper mother's day and didn't just eat your cupcake .
Alright that's all for now. Thanks for reading... till next time
