Biking Camping Trip to Beal's Point

We rode our bikes along the bike trails to the American River, and then on up the river trails to Folsom Lake to Beal's Point.  

On this activity, and to get my cycling merit badge, I needed to map out my path for a ride. Here it is!

It is a little over 20 miles, one way! and my map program says it will take about 1 hour and 53 minutes....

I rode on safe residential neighborhood streets, and then got to the Folsom South Canal dedicated bike trail.

We got to the camp site when it was just about getting dark. We set up our tents and began to make dinner.
