ADAM JOHNSON – BIO I’ve always had a connection and interest with the creative side of life. For me, it all started at age 8. At that time in my life, I spent a few years dabbling with keyboard music on a Yamaha Motif XS8 using Logic Pro software to record tracks. I learned to compose songs, and group instruments together, so that it was a little like orchestra to me. As I listen to those old songs now, it may seem like a waste of a time for me, but it was actually the beginning of my musical adventure. Every one of us have to start somewhere, and in the beginning, its not always the prettiest.
At age 14 I decided to begin writing lyrics. Again, as at the first it was not that good, but it was a start! From that time on, I mainly focused on writing lyrics and creating fun upbeat pop songs to go with my lyrics. I now have a total of 12 finished and unfinished pop songs on my computer. It’s kind of hard thinking of new lyrics and different chords and melodies for my songs. The hardest part is not trying to come up with a new song, but trying to finish an old song. There are times that I have these new song ideas, and I tend to completely move on and forget about my old songs that still need work. But eventually I end up getting back to my old songs, sometimes it’s either a pain to finish them, or an adventure, cause it feels like a new song.
When I was around 14 years old, our family had this idea to create videos, including some for the education of Chinese people in English. By combining the English and Chinese language together we made it more Interesting. We made some few videos at first, but they were sometimes not organized, or the script was lacking. We were learning, and often it was a big mess. Years passed, and I started to see the Bigger Picture of everything we were doing. When I was younger, I had no idea how big of a project this was! When we lived in China we made a lot of friends there. Some of our friends are in movies, and we have often thought of collaborating on projects of ours. We continue to work on scripts and short videos. Sometime in the near future, when we have perfected our videos and music, we will be reaching out to our friends in China to share these projects with the people of China.
